THE UNKNOWN DIAL

It all started here with a strange/an odd/an unusual phone number. I found it scrawled on/scribbled in/written across the back of a receipt/a note/a napkin. At first, I thought nothing of it, just another random find/just a curious detail/just something out of place. But then, the calls started coming in at odd hours/late at night/without warning.
